That’s a really stupid thing to say. You only listen to shows that you know what they’re going to play ahead of time? Weird. Do you do the same thing with regular radio? Only turn it on when you know what song’s going to be on next? Do you only watch TV shows or movies where you know ahead of time everything that will happen? Somehow I doubt it. So why should podcasts be any different?

My favorite Halloween episode so far…..Thanks! Now I’m waiting to see what Mr Katastrophe has up his sleeve.

thanks for dicking my message from everyone!

i liked the playlists because i save alot of the podcasts in a file with a text file which includes the playlist/date/caption attatched, and it’s not fun to listen to the podcast just so you can write down the names and titles of everything. and, no offense, i like them and everything, but there are usually goofy sounds or effects on the hosts voice that make the manual option slightly less gripping.

Hi. First, sorry for my horrible language– I’m a Spanish fan.

I agree with AFS73. You’re right with your explanation. But think that some of us are a bit obsessed with data…

OK, it’s not necessary to know what you’re gonna hear NEXT, but I’d love to know what did I hear, AFTER the listening. It’s very important for me. I prefer to read the tracklist WHILE I’m listening your podcasts, to realize who did that track. I suppose that you prefer not to add the tracklisting to make us listen them anyway. But if I don’t know what I’m listening to, I feel lost, you know! And I’m one of those garagepunk zombies that are starting to look your blog with different eyes, and starting to get lost… I can’t find out every band or song. And I need to know…

I used to listen absolutely all your podcasts (all along, from the beginning) when I knew what I was listening too. But nowadays I’m getting tired.

Anyway, this Halloween Spooktacular is terrific!

Sorry again for my bad English, and sorry if you’ve explained all about the playlists several times before; I didn’t read.

I try to catch all the podcasts from and it has become a little bit of a full time job. The playlist are great, but only necessary when you need to check out a track that you want and dont’ know.

BTW– ht intro was a tad too long this week. otherwise–keep it up.

P.S. you listen to regular radio?

  6. admin says:

I listen to KDHX all the time (and WFMU when I remember to turn it on online), so yeah, I listen to the radio, although it’s anything BUT “regular”…

The fact is, people, there will never be anymore playlists posted on this site. Get them from the individual show producers via email if you have to.

P.S. I had a follow-up episode of this show almost completely finished and ready to post Friday morning when GarageBand crashed on me and I lost over three hours of work. Needless to say, I didn’t have another three hours to put into recreating it, so I threw in the towel. But that episode was even better than this one. It was the first time GarageBand had ever crashed on me while I was working with it. Now I know to save the shit more frequently as I’m going. Live and learn…
